About Us

Brampton Festival Singers Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to the performance of excellent classical and popular choral music. Founded in February 1985, it was incorporated in June 1989. We are dedicated to sharing the joy of music with the community.  We sing a variety of music from classical choral to more contemporary popular music.

We have two major concerts per season, one in December and the other in June to end our season on a high note of what music we work on during the year. Each concert has a theme behind the music.

On September 5th, 2023 we returned this season with two planned concerts. We just performed our
Holiday Concert Featuring Traditional and Caribbean Music on Sunday December 3, 2023. It was a great night of holiday cheer! Songs such as “A Celtic Silent Night” and “Calypso Lullaby” were performed.

We are holding a Folksong Sing-along Event on Saturday April 20, 2024 at St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church from 2pm to 3:30pm. Come and meet and greet the choir at this informal event!

Last season on Dec 4th 2022, we held a concert called Angel Voices  as it involved music with an angel theme. Songs such as “An Angel to Watch Over Me” and “Angels We Have Heard on High” were presented in a four part harmony arrangement. This was our first in person concert since the start of the Covid19 pandemic! What a joyous occasion!

And then on June 11th 2023, we held a concert called Métis Traditions in Story and Song. This was our Indigenous themed concert with songs such as "Alberta Rose" and "Métis Love Song" performed. We would like to thank The City of Brampton for helping fund this concert through the Advance Brampton Fund.
